Individual Package

An individual package covers a single person. The minimum age to purchase an individual package is 16 years old at the time of purchase.

Family Package

A family package covers 2 adults and their dependent children under 18 years old. Children are covered if they are registered in the parents’ client file, even if the children  are not with their parents at the time of the event.  

It is also valid for a grandparent-grandchild relationship. However, grandchildren are only covered if they are accompanying their grandparents at the time of the event.

Only two adults, either the parents or the grandparents, can be covered under a single package.

Please note that family members do not need to be Helico Secours members to benefit from a member’s family package.

In the Event of a Birth or Adoption During the Package Period

If a birth or adoption occurs during the package period, the new dependent will be protected as soon as Helico Secours is informed of the situation.

A child adopted outside of Canada will be covered once they enter Canada.

Transferability

The names of the persons eligible to benefit from the package must be recorded in the file at the time of purchase.

All packages and included services are not transferable to another person.
